Montana Resourcing was later joined by Lucy du Plessis, granting the company in excess of 50 years’ experience between the two of them. Today Montana Resourcing is a company instantly recognizable for our longstanding, sustainable client partnerships as well as the care brought to the lives touched. This includes our clients, our candidates and our team.

Charlie Hayward, a successful business owner and passionate entrepreneur with 27 years of experience in recruitment, is known for her deep understanding and knowledge of the industry. Her first company fast became the recruitment leader within the Supply Chain & Logistics sector. This success resulted in a merger of this niche specialist company into a leading listed Recruitment Services Group in South Africa. Free to once again explore her entrepreneurial ambitions, Montana Resourcing was born. This time her goal is to build a consciously aware organization where she and her team are committed and invested in both their candidates and clients, to apply her profound insight of her client’s companies, offering assurance of a promise of an authentic, speedy delivery that contributes beyond the norm of merely adding to the bottom line.

Lucy Du Plessis

Lucy Du Plessis:

Lucy Du Plessis embarked on a journey in the recruitment industry straight after she completed her BA (Hons) in the mid 1980’s. Lucy has experienced it all: the IT revolution and transformation, the global growth of the South African engineering sector and the new era of investment and private client banking. After a 25-year corporate career with leading brands within the industry, Lucy took a leap of faith and joined Montana Resourcing in partnership with her long-time friend and colleague, Charlie Hayward. Today, as an expert recruiter, a keen observer of people and business, and a skilled mentor and trainer of staff, she offers efficient recruitment advice and services. Lucy guides each client through the recruitment process with understanding and skilful support.
